The children we support hail from the most marginalized communities, residing in slums and rural areas. Sadly, they lack access to even the most fundamental necessities such as clean water, sanitation facilities, and electricity. Among them are children who have been afflicted with HIV, often originating from rural regions and finding themselves orphaned or abandoned by their own relatives. These children bear the burden of both their HIV status and the prejudice they encounter in society. Their parents mainly engage in occupations such as rag-picking, child labour, and begging to make ends meet. Unfortunately, these underprivileged children face discrimination and are denied admission to mainstream schools. Instead of being in classrooms at such a tender age, they are left to wander the streets while their parents' labor for their livelihoods.
